Up for offer is a fantastic antique smoking pipe set, which has its original case. The inside of the case reads "Genuine French Briar" and has a smooth, velvety inside. The pipe bowl itself is made of wood, with metal at the end and has what looks a bit like a Bakelite orange stem. The bowl itself has a number of men's names and nicknames engraved. I see "Beta Sigma" on the left side, and in the upper middle it reads "New Boston" and has what looks like reading glasses with a D and an A inside the circles. The case is in great shape, though there are clearly some tobacco stains inside, as this clearly saw some use back in the day. But the pipe pieces fit firmly in their original spots and the case closes perfectly. Case measures about 3 1/4" across at the widest.A very nice addition to your vintage fraternity / sorority collection! Please email with any questions and thanks for looking!!!
