The saw is in good condition, though there seems to be a small break off the top horn of the handle. It would be a great saw to restore.
According to the Disstonian Institute website, Disston used this style 13/16\" PHILADA medallion between 1896-1917 (see last few pictures for more info). Based on the attached information, it looks to be a D-8 saw, and included are picturesof a typical D-8 from that era. These are my findings, but please do your own research to confirm. The Disstonian Institue is a great resource for that. And if I have anything wrong, please let me know, as I try to do my best to correctly represent what I am selling.
