Phillpots & Malam
I am obliged by your telegram this afternoonand observe that you will complete this matteron Thursday next,I presume at 12:30.
I have obtained a copy of the Rules of the Shepherds Societywhich I see provide that the receipt for the dischargeof a mortgage or further chargeshall be in the form prescribed by schedule 3of the 38 & 39th Vic. Cap 60?
It appears that Mr. Heath has been a trusteeof the Society ever since 1883and I should think thereforea receipt signed by him and the other two trusteeswill be all that you require.
I have written to the Registrar of Friendly Societiesfor a copy of the Certificateand if I can obtain same by completionI will produce it to you.
