A good size and rare mid century retro Contemporary / Modernist gilt brass Photograph Frame by Italian designer Tommaso Barbi having a thick (0.5inches) bevelled glass front with ribbed top and bottom and two ball feet, the back with hinged easel support - signed Tommaso Barbi - made in ItalyCirca 1960\'s - 70\'s
Good Condition - uncleaned because we do not want to remove the gilt finish - left to buyer to decide finish - a good and rare item10.25 inches (26cm) height X 7 inches (18cm)width approx.
The frames are often signed and are noted for their use of materials like brass and Murano glass.
Tommaso Barbi was a designer who blurred the line between function and artistry.
