Offered here is an interesting mixed lot of 9 Christian religious devotional cards, predominantly featuring Eastern Orthodox/Byzantine-style iconography.
The collection includes representations of St. Nicholas, St. George, St. Ephraim, Christ and the Virgin Mary/Christ Child, along with additional saints and clergy-related imagery.
Of particular interest are the St. Nicholas cards from Bari, Italy, connected with the Basilica Pontificia di San Nicola and its Dominican Fathers. The Basilica is an especially important pilgrimage site for both Western and Eastern Christians and maintains a strong historical connection with Orthodox devotion to St. Nicholas.
