Lot of 9 original 1920s presidential campaign buttons — NOT reproductions.
The lot Includes:
(4) Herbert Hoover coat-hanger tab lapel buttons from the 1928 campaign — blue enamel with gold \"HOOVER\" lettering, designed to hook over a coat button.
(4) \"Coolidge and Dawes\" red, white and blue celluloid pinbacks from the 1924 campaign (Calvin Coolidge / Charles Dawes ticket) with the backs marked \"Geraghty & Company, Chicago, U.S.A.,\" confirming the original period manufacture.
(1) small enamel American flag lapel pin.
Condition is mixed, consistent with 100-year-old campaign items: the Coolidge and Dawes buttons show some rust spotting and light surface wear, the Hoover tabs have enamel wear and tarnish. Pins are intact. Please review all photos carefully.
A great starter lot for a political memorabilia collector, or to break out and resell individually.
