Stunning early 20th century 9-Pc RC Royal Crockery Nippon hand-painted gilt moriage chocolate set, c. 1911. Features heavy hand applied gilt scroll decoration with gold rim and handles. Set includes a chocolate pot with lid (measures 10" high to finial x 8" spout tohand) and four flat cups (2 1/2" diameter x 3" high) and three saucers (4 5/8" x 4 5/8") Base with the "RC Hand Painted Nippon”, combination of both red & green color, Royal Crockery used since 1911.
