The luxurious Jens-Marie Hotel in Ponca City was built in 1924 at 2nd Street and Cleveland Avenue, and torn down amid protest in 1978.
These photos were taken in January 1949, according to the calendar in the photos. I\'d guess this to be the basement boiler room and adjacent areas.
These photos are in average shape for their age... some toning of the paper, some smudges and spots, aging, and some curling of the prints. The definition is pretty good... I was able to see quite a bit of detail with a magnifying glass, much better than \'s picture hosting will allow me to show you.
Snapshots are 3 1/4\" by 2 1/2\" overall. We\'ve made no copies... you\'ll own the originals.
