• ONE PAIR (2 pcs) - 6N6P (cyrillic 6H6) Platinum Grade vacuum tubes. The 6N6P is a vintage 9-pin vacuum tube manufactured by NEVZ (Novosibirsk, Soviet Union). 6N6P tubes are regarded as exceptional audio tubes. There are two versions of the vintage 6N6P tube. This version is the "export" version of the tube, which is often marked "CCCP" on the glass envelope.
• UPGRADE FOR 6N6 TUBES 6N6P (6H6) vacuum tubes are an excellent replacement for the Chinese 6N6 tube used in Little Dot headphone amplifiers and in other audio amplifier circuits designed for use with the 6N6 or 6N6P tubes. IMPORTANT: 6N6P tubes should only be used as a replacement for Chinese 6N6 and Russian 6N6P tubes. Unless specifically approved by the manufacturer of your audio device, this tube is not a suitable substitute for any other type of 9-pin tubes.
• TESTED AND MATCHED by experienced engineers using Amplitrex tube testers to evaluate the electrical parameters of the tubes. Tubes are evaluated for plate current (ip), mutual conductance, tube gain, H-K leakage, gas and noise. Data labels with measured ip and tube gain are attached to the tube boxes. After matching, the tubes are evaluated for sound quality in an amplifier. If any deficiencies are found the tubes are not sold. Less than 50% of the 6N6P tubes we test and audition pass our standard for high fidelity audio use.
• TEST RESULTS CLEARLY MARKED on the tube boxes with data labels for ip (plate current and tube gain () are attached to the individual tube boxes. Tubes chosen for these special matched pairs have good balance between tube sections and close electrical parameter matching between the tube sections and between individual tubes used in a matched pair (ip is matched within 8% and tube gain within 5%). Individual matched pairs will have identical date codes (date codes for the tubes we offer range from 1970 to 1991).

Our Platinum Grade 6N6P (cyrillic 6H6П) vacuum tubes are the most thoroughlytested available. Backed by Riverstone Audio\'s 2-year warranty. To determinestability, each tube is subjected to multiple test cycles. The minimum testduration (not including tube burn-in) is 10 minutes. Tubes are matched within8% for plate current (ip) and within 5% for tube gain. Data labels withmeasured plate current and tube gain are provided for each tube. As a finalquality check, all matched tubes are auditioned in an amplifier to determinesound quality. We offer two versions of the 6N6P tube. The first version,which have the original \"CCCP\" designation on the tube were for export fromthe former Soviet Unibion and have a single getter support-post. The secondversion, which was a mil-spec version of the 6N6P tube, utilizes two gettersupport-posts have Ni-plated tube pins. Other than the getter support, thestructure of the tubes is the same. To-date we have tested over 2500 6N6Ptubes and do not find a discernible difference in audio sound quality betweenthe two tube versions. The difference in price we charge for the two versionsis based entirely on our initial procurement cost for the tubes. Both the CCCPversion and the mil-spec version are equally suitable for high-fidelity audioapplications.
