This is a nice selection of BIRTHDAY postcards that have the classic motifs that were seen on antique postcards from the early 1900s. These postcards have designs with FLOWERS and MESSAGES with very nice lettering. The lettering has gold and silver trim. The postcards are nicely drawn and have a colorful and attractive look to them. These postcards are EMBOSSED and five have GOLD trim, and one has SILVER trim. These postcards have good detail, so it is a pleasure to look at them. The publisher of these postcards is BIRN BROTHERS (B.B. London), who published out of London, and printed their postcards in Germany. They are a well respected firm and sought after by collectors.
These are good postcards to add to a collection. They wouldappeal to collectors because they capture the style used back in the early 1900s, and a glimpse of life back then. Overall, a niceselection of antique Birthday postcards at a reasonable price.
The postcards are UNPOSTED (3) and POSTED (3) and have cancel dates of 1912-1913. These would have been \"Printed in Germany\" during the \"Golden Age of Postcards\" (1908-1915 era). They have DIVIDED backs.
These are BETTER POSTCARD and good for a collector.The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age.The photos show the postcards and the backs.
