5 Vtg USA Unsilvered Glass Striped Christmas Ornaments 3 Shiny Brite with Mica For Sale

Lot of five vintage unsilvered striped glass Christmas ornaments. The three with mica trim are Shiny Brites: the balls measure about 2-1/4 inches in diameter, the tiered one is 2 inches in diameter, 3-1/4 inches to the top of the hanger. The pastel striped ball is also about 2-1/4 inches in diameter and is marked Made in USA on the top. The red striped ornament is also 2-1/4 inches in diameter. Ornaments were unsilvered during World War II as the silver nitrate used to make them was requisitioned for the war effort. Metal hangers were also often replaced with cardboard. I believe the cardboard piece in the top of the red striped ornament is a partial hanger. These ornaments are in very good condition with some paint wear as pictured.Buy with confidence: I guarantee my merchandise to be as represented. Thanks~~Caroline
