1. Hatch time can vary widely depending on how early/late the egg case was deposited by the female and how much sun/shade it received pre-harvest. It is not only possible, but common that the hatch times of egg cases in similar temperate conditions can vary from days to weeks of each other.

2. Recipients not following, or deviating from, the enclosed care/hatching instructions.

3. Egg cases purchased after April 1st could possibly hatch in transit. If this is not acceptable, DO NOT place an order after this date.

4.Nature throws a dud sometimes. That said, even if you THINK it is a dud, be a good person and place it outside, rather than in the trash.
