Wonderful collection of 45 vintage metal airline ticket validation plates used by travel agencies for manual airline ticketing before electronic ticketing became standard.
The collection includes airlines from the United States and around the world, including many airlines that have since disappeared or merged.Original red travel-agency validation-plate storage holder is included, marked “STORE IN SECURE PLACE.”
These are authentic working-era pieces rather than reproductions. They show varying amounts of age, oxidation, scratching, discoloration and general use. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition. I have not attempted to polish or restore them.
