The reverse of each features the original gold foil studio label reading Spindle Hand Turned Woodware, Thanet 581788, alongside the molded H & R Johnson Ltd Made in England factory mark on the ceramic itself. The set is in excellent vintage pre-owned condition. The glazed ceramic surfaces are vibrant and clear with no major crazing, cracks, or chips to the artwork. The hand-turned wooden frames are structurally sound with a beautiful natural grain, showing only very minimal light surface wear consistent with age. All original backing stickers and brass hanging attachments are secure and intact.
