Algerian briar is highly prized by collectors for its lightweight density, excellent heat resistance, and legendary sweet-smoking characteristics. Because historical Algerian Briar harvests largely ceased in the mid-20th century, finding unsmoked pieces from this era is becoming increasingly rare.

Bowls are pristine, factory-fresh, completely unsmoked with zero cake, char, or tobacco residue.Clearly stamped with "France" and "Algerian Briar" on the shanks. No shape numbers or logos are present.
One stem appears to have some possible light oxidation? I can't honestly tell if it's part of its original design. This one also still has the original $4.95 price tag attached.
