This is a set of three French clear glass oval matching inserts or liners that were made to fit antique silver salt cellars. They came from a set whose cellars were damaged beyond repair. Surprisingly, the 3 inserts survived with a few flea bites to their rims, and this listing is only for the three inserts. In other words no salt cellars are part of this deal, only the liners.
They are oval in shape, wavy at the top, and they become more narrow toward the bottom.
At the top they measure 1 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. At the bottom, they narrow to a smaller 1 1/4" long and 7/8" wide. At the highest point in their wavy tops, they measure 1 5/8" high. The very bottom part is flat and features a starburst design.
Please measure your own salt cellars carefully before buying these, as there are no returns.
