A beautifully framed piece that contains three autographs. They are of Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg (1887-1969) the Queen of Spain, her daughter Beatriz de Borbon Torlonia (1909-2002) and Jimmy Durante (1893-1980).
The autographs appear to be pasted down onto another sheet. The one of Jimmy Durante reads "To Sally - Glad to be on the same boat with such a sweet little girl / Best Wishes / Jimmy Durante." Below that on another piece of paper is Beatriz de Borbon Torlonia's autograph with "September 1936" below her signature and below is Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg's signature.
It is my assumption that these autographs were acquired while the original owner "Sally" was on a cruise ship. That would explain the mix of European Royalty and entertainment autographs on the same piece. It is framed in a gold frame that is approx. 8.5” x 8”. I have never examined this outside of the frame.
All three signatures are consistent with other known examples.
Some discoloration, else in very good condition.
