Shirley, Herb Ritts Sr.'s wife, even designed the iconic Polynesian furniture featured in Elvis Presley's film "Blue Hawaii" in the 1960s. Building on this success, they expanded into creating a line of Rattan furniture, which they marketed and produced with great success. The Ritts family played a pivotal role in popularizing this style.
If you were curious, it should be noted that the renowned celebrity photographer, Herb Ritts Jr., is the offspring of the exceptionally talented Herb Shirley Ritts, hailing from a family of great artistic abilities.
