Here is an unusual piece of Las Vegas casino history that you simply don't see very often.
Let It Ride — The Tournament was introduced by Shuffle Master in Las Vegas in 1995 as a tournament extension of its hugely popular Let It Ride casino game. Nevada approved the linked tournament system that year, allowing players at participating casinos to qualify for major playoff events. Tournaments were held approximately every 120 days, with players receiving equal amounts of special “No Cash Value” tournament chips and advancing through elimination rounds from the top 100, to 25, and finally seven finalists. The promotion became a significant Las Vegas casino event during 1995–96; one early tournament at Bally’s awarded Honolulu player Frederick Oishi an extraordinary $2 million prize. By October 1996, Let It Ride — The Tournament had expanded to more than 100 casinos in several states, making these distinctive tournament chips surviving pieces of a brief but colorful chapter in 1990s casino history.
This is an original framed Let It Ride® “The Tournament” casino chip display, featuring tournament chips from three legendary Las Vegas casinos:
Bally’s Las Vegas
Four Queens Hotel & Casino
Las Vegas Hilton
The display contains colorful No Cash Value tournament chips, including multiple denominations and high-denomination $1,000 tournament chips, presented with both sides visible.
These chips date to the 1995–1996 launch era of Let It Ride “The Tournament,” when the popular Shuffle Master table game was expanded into casino tournament play. Players competed using special non-redeemable tournament chips like those represented in this display.
This was not simply a home-assembled collection of loose casino chips. The framed presentation is marked on the reverse:

Only 350 numbered examples of this Collector’s Edition were produced.
The display includes tournament chips representing three very different icons of 1990s Las Vegas — Bally’s on the Strip, the Four Queens downtown on Fremont Street, and the legendary Las Vegas Hilton.
