Vintage resin sculptures by North Carolinian artist Thomas Clark, who was the lead artist with Cairn Studios. Best known for his whimsical Gnomes and Woodspirits. In 1978 Dr. Clark sculpted a small gnome for his own amusement and he began sculpting other small forest-dwellers, celebrating their life of harmony with the natural world by naming them "Woodspirits". Clark gave each statue a name and a story and surreptitiously placed a coin somewhere on it. Each one placed either in the pockets of the wood spirits or tucked under the greenery.
