• This is an extremely rare, historical bronze/brass Armenian Church's custom Sealing Wax Stamper, with both Armenian (Ս. Ածածին Եկեղ. Հայ. Բաշ-Գիւղի (Հայկական Սուրբ Աստվածածին Եկեղեցի- Բաշգյուղի)) & Russian (Арм. Церк. Св. Бож. Мат. Башкюгъ (Армянский Церковь Святой Божьей Матери- Башгюх)) inscriptions "St. Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) Armenian Church- Bashgyugh" & the engraving of the church.
  

  This is an official seal of an 5th century Armenian Church in Bashgyukh village (which later was renamed to Saralanj), Armenia/ Russian Empire.

Saralanj (Armenian: Սարալանջ, also Romanized as Saralandzh and Saralandj; formerly, Bashgyukh) is a village in the Shirak Province of Armenia.

Սարալանջ, գյուղ Հայաստանի Շիրակի մարզում, մարզկենտրոնից 25 կմ հարավ-արևելք, Արագած լեռան հյուսիսարևմտյան ստորոտին։

Նախնիները գաղթել են Կարինից, Մուշից և Կարսից։ Բնակչությունը զբաղվում է անասնապահությամբ, հացահատիկի, կերային կուլտուրաների և ծխախոտի և շրջակայքում կան զանազան հնություններ՝ V դարի եկեղեցի, գյուղատեղի և գերեզմաններ։

Արագած լեռան հյուսիս-արևմտյան ստորոտին փռված Սարալանջ գյուղի 5-րդ դարում կառուցված և 19-րդ դարում վերանորոգված միանավ բազիլիկ Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցին, որը խորհրդային տարիներին, ինչպես մյուս բոլոր եկեղեցիները, ծառայել է որպես ամբար, տարիների ընթացքում քայքայվել էր: 2016թ.-ին եկեղեցին հիմնովին վերանորոգվեց եւ նաեւ անվանակոչվեց Սուրբ Նարեկ` ի պատիվ Սարալանջում գտնվող Սուրբ Նարեկ գրքի:
