A charming antique french brocante and antiques from 18th century until the Art Déco period that come from the Loire Valley, known for its history, wine, family property, manoir and castles. But not only, we travel all around France to truffle the best antiques.

This fabulous antique Empire French Paris porcelain vases is dated to early 1800. The pair is decorated all over on gilt ground and features a cartouche at the center that shows a fantastic and extremely detailed hand painted orientalist scene. The back of each vase is tooled and burnished with a medallion of flower's bouquet. The vases are mounted with upright, scrolling twin handles which enclose a matte gilt ground panel in relief depicting a mascaron. The vases are set on a square plinth base with a waisted socle. No chips, no hairlines,no cracks, in perfect condition, beautifully timeworn but the gilt is still vivid and bright. Each vase measures 29cm/11.41" height and 16cm/6.29" large. The square socle is 8cm x 8cm (3.14" x3.14").

This exquisite pair of gilt ground porcelain vases represent a fine example of French craftsmanship during the Empire period of the early 19th Century, around 1800. Some use to expect due to its great age, but still very good antique condition, with a superb fine hand painted orientalist scenes. Listing for the pair ( TWO VASES ).
