Transcription:The Committee of Finance and Accounts, beg leave to Report, that there are several of the certificates issued for loans made by the city, that are now due and their payment called for by the holders; and as there is an opportunity of obtaining on loan about $2,200 — that has been offered to the Mayor on favorable terms: — Your Committee therefore think it advisable for councils to borrow the same for the purpose of paying off such of the loans that are due and called for; they accordingly recommend for adoption the following Resolution —
