Elaine Roesle's heirloom creations are widely celebrated by collectors and havebeen featured in Early American Life Magazine for their adherence totraditional holiday folklore. Each figure is individually poured, fired,hand-painted, and styled. This piece features a remarkably lifelike,hand-painted bisque porcelain face with striking blue eyes, framed by a soft,flowing white beard and an elegant dark brown genuine fur hat and trim.
He wears a deep burgundy wool coat and holds abeautifully detailed, vintage-style gold tinsel tree adorned with miniatureornaments and a small wooden angel. Hanging from his arm is a delicate goldwire birdcage holding a tiny white bird, balanced by a miniature brass jinglebell on his left hand.
Condition Details:
- Figurine: Excellent, clean vintage condition. The porcelain face has flawless paint. No chips, cracks, or repairs to any part of the figure.
- Base: Pristine black wooden pedestal base featuring flawless hand-written ink studio signatures, dates, and piece numbers on both the side and bottom.
- Hangtag: Original, clean foldable booklet hangtag is fully intact and attached to the base string.
- Note: The burgundy coat has some minor light lint/stray beard fibers as expected with age.
