1981 Marvel Comics Vintage Store Advertising Display Topper
Up for sale is an original 1981 Marvel Comics promotional advertising display/topper, featuring an incredible lineup of classic Marvel superheroes.
This large multi-panel display features Spider-Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Silver Surfer, Human Torch, Spider-Woman, Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman and other classic Marvel imagery.
One end features a large Comics Code Authority graphic reading:
“Look for the COMIC BOOK with this SEAL – Approved by the Comics Code Authority”
The opposite end features the instantly recognizable Spider-Man mask/logo.

This appears to have been produced as point-of-sale/promotional advertising material for Marvel Comics, rather than as a standard commercially sold poster. Its large connected multi-panel format makes for an impressive display when opened.
CONDITION
Vintage original from 1981. The display remains bright and colorful with strong graphics. There is age-related wear, including some edge/corner wear, light surface marks, creasing/fold lines and other minor imperfections consistent with its age and storage. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description and show the exact item you will receive.
The reverse is predominantly blank, as shown.
No restoration has been performed.
