For sale is a 1960s Anchor Hocking Hodge & Murphy Poultry, Gainesville, Georgia milk glass mug. The mug has a "D" style handle and is in excellent condition with an impressed backstamp. It appears to have never been used. There is a slight manufacturing flaw - a rough edge with some black color transference.
Companies like Hodge & Murphy commonly commissioned custom-printed "Applied Color Label" (ACL) milk glass mugs. These featured their corporate branding and was distributed as premiums to local farmers, clients or employees. This was a standard marketing tactic in the 1960s-1970s.
