The view prominently features the giant Admiral Television Appliances sign along with a large Canadian Club Imported Whisky billboard. At left is advertising for Cinerama Holiday, then playing at New York\'s Warner Theatre at 1585 Broadway near 47th Street. Cinerama Holiday had its world premiere there on February 8, 1955 and continued its extended New York engagement through the date of this photograph.
Additional period signs, billboards, storefronts, automobiles and pedestrians fill the scene, making this an especially strong mid-century Times Square advertising and streetscape image.
