MCM Atomic Mastercrafters No. 47 Action Starlight mantel clock
**Very rare find!**
Clock features two glass tubes with foil flakes inside that gently move from heat from the bulb below the tube socket. It is recommended that an LED bulb NOT be used because they do not generate heat to move the foil flakes.
The clock is in very good working condition, although there is some oxidation to the gold plating on the base metal consisting to vintage age. No attempts have been made to restore or clean oxidation in order to preserve the plating that remains on the clock.
When time is being set the hour hand moves freely but clock will need started at the time of the minute hand as it does not wind for setting. Once plugged it, it keeps perfect time.
There is an audible clock ticking when clock is plugged in. It does not run silently so please bear that in mind if buying. Sound can be heard on video if sound is at top volume.
This clock measures 8 and 1/4 in wide, 3 and 1/4 in front to back, and is 8 in in height.
