1950s/60s Vintage Japan Quality Ceramic Painted Santa Face Tray / Wall Plague For Sale

Here is a face of Santa Clause small tray/wall hanging. This example is hand and air brush paint detailed. Gold "sponging" details along w/faint blue beard coloring give the figure additional character. Vintage (around 1960) details and finish (THE classic cartoon like Santa image) give this item the vintage Christmas presence we all yearn for once holiday season approaches. Unmarked ( originally, probably w/a paper JAPAN tag), the tray is 5 inch across, 5 3/8 inch tall, and 1 3/8 inch deep. Requires hand washing in luke warm to cool water only (red painted ceramics can dissolve in hot water). The holly berries were never painted on this example. Fun, enjoyable holiday decor from a much more innocent era. No chips, cracks, repairs or excessive wear (slight wear on his red cap surface).
