Hey friends,
This is a hard to get 1948 Washington trailer plate. The TL stands for trailer. The A is the county code for King County. 1948 is a hard year to find Washington plates. The state didn’t make passenger vehicle or truck plates in 1948. Those vehicles used a window sticker. Only trailer, dealer, motorcycle, wrecker and common carrier got plates in 1948. This plate is all original. It’s an aluminum plate. All the mounting holes are in good condition. It does have an extra hole in the middle of the plate. Other than that it has a good look and displays well. Please look at the pictures closely. They are part of the description.
This is legal to use in Washington under the (YOM) law. Year of Manufacture. Any vehicle 30 years old or older that isn’t a daily driver can pay a one time fee and permanently register vintage plates to their vehicle.
Thanks for looking, Isaac ALPCA 10044
