Original Camp Shanks, New York, paper ephemera lot featuring two items that were found together:
• “Homeward Bound from Camp Shanks, N.Y.—New York Port of Embarkation” folding brochure, published by Western Union Telegraph Company.
• Separate ASF, NYPE Telephone & Telegraph Center admission pass for Camp Shanks.
Brochure features an illustrated cover, camp map, local historical information, telegram services, and rates to various cities. Small printing at the bottom appears to include the year 1945. The pass is undated and bears printed authorization from W. P. Young, Major, T.C., Adjutant.
Vintage condition with age toning, scattered spotting, folds, and edge wear. Please examine all photos for condition and details.
Includes the brochure and admission pass pictured. Sold together as one lot.
