1943 WWII Courage Folder Neil Holt Art Print FDR Look to Norway Relief Letter For Sale

rare piece of World War II Home Front history features a 1943 \"Courage\" art print folder produced by the legendary Raphael Tuck & Sons to benefit the American Friends of Norway. The cover has an excerpt from United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt\'s \"Look to Norway\" speech, delivered on September 16, 1942. Measuring 11x14 inches, this specialized, beautifully printed token of appreciation serves as a powerful historical artifact of international solidarity, wartime philanthropy, and Allied fundraising efforts during the height of the Second World War. Founded during the German occupation of Norway, this relief organization worked tirelessly to support the Norwegian merchant marine, provide critical medical supplies, and aid refugees fleeing the conflict. The included folder houses a poignant, high-quality illustration by the noted artist and illustrator Neil Holt. The artwork is expertly produced with a distinct texture that beautifully mimics an original oil painting. It comes protected by its original, glassine-like jacket/covering, which has naturally yellowed over time, adding to its authentic vintage character. Complete with its original April 1943 fundraising letter signed by Clifford N. Carver, Chairman of the Executive Committee, this complete ensemble is an exceptional, museum-quality addition for collectors of WWII memorabilia, Norwegian-American history, or classic illustration art........ code Jsb 342
