1942 Public School Diploma Oakville District St. Louis MO County Ruth Anna Hosto For Sale

For sale is a vintage public school diploma from the Department of Education of the State of Missouri. It is dated May 15, 1942, and stipulates that Ruth Anna Hosto of Oakville District of St. Louis County was eligible to enter high school. It is signed by school superintendent Rufus G. Russell and teacher George D. Richardson. My research shows Russell was superintendent of St. Louis County schools from 1915 to 1951. Printed on heavy paper stock, the diploma measures 5 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches and is in very good condition, with one bumped corner. See my listings for other vintage items.
