For your consideration is an authentic vintage souvenir photograph from the famed Charlie Low’s Forofferden City nightclub in San Francisco, one of the most iconic Chinese-American entertainment venues of the 1930s–1940s. A cultural landmark of wartime San Francisco, famously known as the "Copacabana of the West" and a favorite haunt for servicemen during the Pacific campaign.
This piece dates to the WWII era and was originally owned by Lt. Pat B. Lankford of the U.S. Army Air Forces, 5th Ferrying Group, adding a compelling military provenance to an already historically significant item.
