1934 Ingersoll UK Mickey Mouse watch For Sale

Here we have the second example of the Mickey mouse UK wrist watches made by Ingersoll Ltd. of London England. c. 1934. This watch comes on its original leather strap.

1. You are not purchasing a watch as much as you are an almost 100 year old collectable item.

1. They are wonderfully beautiful, fascinating pieces, but are fragile and should be handled with care.

1. These pieces were originally made as toys for children. The fact that any of them exist today, and some in working order is remarkable.

1. If you insist on pulling out the crown and setting the watch (Not something I would recommend doing to often) Use caution and patience when doing so. Most will come out fairly easily but some can be quite hard. It is not uncommon to have them, if forced, come out altogether.

1. Never over wind them.

1. If, after winding, the watch does not start running, a couple of gentle taps on the side of the case will, 9 times out of 10 start the watch running.

1. Some Mickey’s when wound, will run for only a few minutes before needing another gentle tap, while others will run for up to 24 hours.

1. A 1930’s Mickey Mouse watch that’s running today may not run tomorrow…That’s just the way it is with these old pieces. I make no guarantees of functionality. I can only assure you that the descriptions are as detailed and honest as i can provide.

1. Unless otherwise stated, each piece is functioning properly when it leaves my care.

I have been collecting these piece for decades and have enjoyed owning them very very much and would like anyone who purchases a watch from me to have the same experience.

I am not interested in trying to fool anyone into buying any of these pieces, I only want happy faces…So please, ask questions, watch the videos, look at the pictures and read the descriptions carefully before making a purchase.
