Vintage 1926 Souvenir Folder of Hawaii, published by Hawaii & South Seas Curio Co., Honolulu.
This beautiful accordion-style souvenir folder contains a collection of colorful views of early Hawaii and Honolulu, including Waikiki Beach, Volcano of Kilauea, Moana Hotel, Alexander Young Hotel, Hula Dancers, Flower Girls, Moanalua Tea Gardens, Nuuanu Pali, City of Honolulu, St. Andrew’s Cathedral and other historic Hawaiian scenes.
The folder was mailed in 1926 and retains its original handwritten address, message and vintage U.S. postage stamps with postal cancellations. An interior handwritten message is dated Feb. 1, 1926, adding wonderful period character and provenance.
Published approximately 100 years ago, this is an attractive piece of Hawaiiana, travel, postal and historical ephemera.
