1915 Antique Bronze Plaque Scottish Rite Freemasonry Albert Pike 33° Masonic:
$285.26

This is the rare deal. A solid cast bronze commemorative plaque made for the dedication of the House of the Temple in Washington, D.C. on October 18, 1915 — the headquarters of the Scottish Rite Supreme Council, Southern Jurisdiction, that still stands today.

The front has four portrait medallions of the men who shaped the Scottish Rite in America: Albert Pike, who led the Supreme Council from 1859 to 1891 and whose remains are interred in the Temple itself; J.D. Richardson, his successor; George F. Moore, who was Grand Commander at the time of the dedication; and Charles E. Rosenbaum, his Lieutenant. Between them, a relief of the Temple facade with the dates 1801 and 1915, and the Scottish Rite double-headed eagle below.

Flip it over and you get the full 1915 officer tableau — every name, every title, cast right into the bronze. It’s essentially a who’s who of Scottish Rite leadership at one of the most significant moments in the organization’s American history.

Maker’s mark stamped on the edge reads WHITEHEAD & HOAG — a well-known Newark, New Jersey firm that produced high-quality commemorative bronzes from the 1890s onward. That stamp alone tells you this isn’t a reproduction.

About 10 × 6 cm, heavy for its size, beautiful natural patina, sharp detail throughout. No cracks, no repairs, nothing cleaned or polished. Just 110 years of honest age.

If you collect Masonic memorabilia, American fraternal history, or antique bronzes — you won’t see another one of these anytime soon.
