This letter originates from the Galveston Texas office and is addressed to Mr M L Thompson Hartshorne , Oklahoma ( a prominent historic coal mining town that attracted numerous Eastern European immigrants during this era).
Attached immigration receipt attached to the top of the letter with its original metal clip is the actual bill referenced . It is issued by the historic Auswandererhalle 4 ( Emigrant Hall #4 ) in Bremen, Germany - the massive staging facility NDL used to house emigrants before boarding.
In very good condition, no rips or tears. Faint mail folds.
