DESCRIPTION:This is the1908 International Tailoring Co. Scrapbook Animals, Ads, People, Children Interesting reading! The size isapproximately 22 inches by 20 inches. This is very large and very heavy.
This is packed with clippings. They are very interesting. They show families, children, and all kinds of products. Some of the products include Grimm's Alfalfa, The Big Doll Company, Crystal Domino Sugar, National Cloak & Suit Co. New York City, Light of America Writing Papers, Jell-o, Cream of Wheat, Rexall "93" Hair Tonic, 1847 Rogers Silverplate, Sears, Roebuck, and Co.,
There is a picture labeled: Preparing to Launch the Aerodrome from the Roof of the Houseboat "Buzzard". There is another picture of a "Domestic Cow" (Bos taurus).
There is a children's page from 1904. There are all kinds of bird and fish clippings from magazines. Pictures of Mr. Andrew Carnegie and his wife. A plate showing how New York Welcomed Our First President. There are many very large, amazing images. Some are religious and show Jesus Christ. There is also some images of Abraham Lincoln. The coronation of King George. There is also a picture of Mrs. Tom Thumb Celebrates her Birthday. There is still a few complete whole pages from the International Tailoring Co including the building itself. There are various scenes from plays which are not clips, but actually part of the original book.
It is a very stunning book.
PAGES: There are a total of 78 pages. Out of the 78 pages, approximately 50 have clippings of one type or another glued to them.
CONDITION:This is in Fair condition. There are cracks along the spine. There are stains on some of the papers which were cut out and glued in. Some of the pieces that were inserted are also coming loose. There are some tears on some of the pieces as well as creases and bumps from the glue. One of the pages is loose, but present. The pictures are part of the description, so please view all pictures. This is being sold as shown, so if you have any questions please contact us.
