This is an undivided back (UDB) early century postcard that is postmarked from Reading PA in 1905. There is a second postmark (the receiving post office postmark) that looks like Pottstown PA. The postcard is addressed to Miss Lauren Rhoades c/o Half Way House Chestnut Grove Penna. In Pottstown there was a Half Way House Tavern on Chestnut Grove Road. The sender was John Guider at White House in Reading PA. According to a site on Google, \"there was a local landmark and railway stop in Reading known as the \"White House\" at the base of Neversink Mountain.\" The Guider family was very well known in Reading PA.
This postcard is in good condition in consideration of its age. It is printed on very sturdy, thick card stock. Please see photos for condition.
