A scarce and visually rich 1902 souvenir program for the Elks’ Grand Vaudeville held at the Pasadena Grand Opera House, April 17, 1902. This example measures approximately 6 x 9-1/8 inches and is complete with all pages shown, featuring an attractive blue paper cover with gilt design and extensive local advertising throughout.
Issued by Pasadena Lodge No. 672, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, this program reflects early 20th-century Southern California entertainment culture, combining vaudeville acts, fraternal organization history, and a remarkable cross-section of Pasadena businesses. The interior includes period photographs of interiors, storefronts, and even early automobiles, making it especially desirable for collectors of California ephemera.
The condition appears very good overall, with light edge wear and normal handling consistent with age. Binding remains intact and pages are clean with strong typography and illustrations.
