EXCELLENT cond - An exceptionally rare, collector-grade late Victorian antique Art Nouveau glamour card postmarked December 1902. Printed in Germany as part of an exquisite, highly stylized European art set designated as Serie 580, capturing the western fascination with Orientalism and Japanese culture at the turn of the century. The striking color illustration features a beautiful young Japanese geisha styled in an elaborate, flowing floral kimono with a wide obi sash. She holds a patterned green folding fan adorned with deep red floral blossoms, posing gracefully before a massive, open parasol umbrella that frames her upper profile with radiant pink, red, and gold segments. The entire design is beautifully executed via a high-quality chromolithograph printing process, showing an intricate, lightly embossed texture and highlighted by elegant gold-gilt metallic paint detailing along the borders of her traditional attire and background clover patterns. The lower margin features a clean, contemporary handwritten greeting in dark ink reading "With love from Nell". The reverse features a classic undivided back layout addressed to Miss Mary Stevens, The Lilacs, Radlett, Nr St Albans, Herts, complete with a green Half Penny King Edward VII stamp neatly tied by a crisp, circular Harpur Hill skeleton town postmark dated 9 December 1902.Condition Note: The card is in exceptional, premium antique condition. It remains structurally crisp with nice corners, clean edges, and flawless color preservation across the illustrative face. The reverse features a cleanly struck undivided back layout showing only minor, natural age toning consistent with a genuinely postmarked piece from 1902—please see high-resolution scans of both sides to assess fine details. 1902 Antique Japanese Geisha Fan Parasol Chromolithograph Postcard to Radlett 1902 Antique Japanese Geisha Fan Parasol Chromolithograph Postcard to Radlett Description EXCELLENT cond - An exceptionally rare, collector-grade late Victorian antique Art Nouveau glamour card postmarked December 1902.
