Vintage collection of three souvenir mailing cards from the 1901 Pan-American Exposition held in Buffalo, New York. This set includes two "Official Souvenir Mailing Cards" published by the Niagara Envelope Manufactory and lithographed by Gies & Co., featuring the Electricity Building and the Albright Art Gallery. Also included is a larger commemorative piece depicting the iconic American Exposition buffalo motif with various exposition buildings in the background. These cards represent the Private Mailing Card era, authorized by the Act of Congress in 1898, and feature beautiful multi-color lithography characteristic of the turn of the century. Notable wear is present, including a significant crease on the upper right corner of the Electricity Building card and general age-related toning.
