Offered is a fine, authentic 18th-century German Baroque copperplate engraving print (Andachtsbild / Neujahrswunsch).
Iconography: Richly detailed scene featuring the Infant Jesus in the manger with the ox and donkey below, putti supporting the Cross of the Passion, and a radiant Eucharistic monstrance suspended in cloudwork among cherubs above.
Inscription: German Fraktur verse wishing a "fröhlichs Neues Jahr" (Happy New Year) centered on contemplating the miracle of the altar and the Cross.
Condition: Excellent historical condition for paper of this age. Unmounted with blank back. Crisp, deep impression on period laid paper. Light edge wear and faint age toning as shown.
