Offered here is a rare 1897 Fayette County Teachers’ Institute souvenir paper card with original photograph from Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The piece features a small portrait photograph of a gentleman (mounted in a decorative frame), with printed text noting the “Forty-Fourth Annual Session of the Fayette County Teachers’ Institute.”

The facing page includes a whimsical cherub illustration and promotional text from Leonard’s Photographic Studio, 101 West Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., offering one dollar in payment on a dozen cabinet photos. The card measures approximately 6.75\" x 5.25\" overall and remains in very good antique condition, with light age toning and a clipped corner to the photo.
