Original 1891 subscription circular for the United States Official Postal Guide, published by George F. Lasher of Philadelphia, PA, measuring approximately 12" x 9.5" and printed on both sides. The front features a blue illustration of the January 1892 guide cover, pointing hands, the Post Office Department seal, subscription prices, and a call for agents. The reverse reproduces a sample alphabetical post office directory page and testimonials from businesses including Godey Publishing, Wm. Henry Maule, and Thurber, Whyland & Co. Paper shows toning, scattered spotting, folds, tears, and edge chipping with small losses, especially along the bottom, plus dark marks on the illustrated cover.
