This is an original box, undated, but would be around 1889, give or take a couple of years. It is an empty box which measures approx 10.25\" x 6.5\" x 2\" high.
The box is structurally good for age, paper over cardboard. There are some edge tears, some soiling, and wear as shown.
Pastedown cute child on outside of lid, fashion print inside bottom of lid including men and boys: top hat, canes, bicycle, ice sckates, all in fashionable clothing, sailor, suit, etc.
Inside the lid is the advertising wording, peeling on the upper right side but still nice.
Bottom of box shows some glue residue as this was probably previously a display box attached to a board.
