• Original Western Union Telegraph Company telegram dated February 10, 1887, sent from Jacksonville, Florida to Enterprise, addressed to Ferris & Weston at 31 Noonan Street. The message, written in period cursive handwriting, reads: “Send can milk today – Stone & Champlin.” This 19th-century telegraph features the printed violet stamp “Jacksonville, FLA.” and early corporate letterhead under Thos. T. Eckert, General Manager and Norvin Green, President. A fine piece of Florida telegraph and business history, illustrating communication speed and commerce in the late 1800s dairy trade.
