FRAGILE, BUT STABILIZED WITH ARCHIVAL TAPE ON THE BACK.

Original 1886 printed concert handbill advertising “An Evening of Intellectual Fun” with FRANK LINCOLN, prominently billed as “America’s Greatest Humorist.” The program features Lincoln in his musical and imitative entertainment entitled “The Ludicrous Side of Life,” assisted by the RICCA VENETIAN MANDOLIN QUARTETTE and W. B. STONE, performing burlesques on the mannerisms of celebrated composers.

The event took place at Association Hall, Bond Street near Fulton, Brooklyn, on Tuesday, April 6, 1886, with proceeds donated to the Brooklyn Home for Aged Men. Admission prices, reserved seating options, and ticket sales locations are printed at the bottom, reflecting authentic late-19th-century entertainment advertising practices.
