Measures approximately 4.25" x 2-5/8". Original 1880s advertising trade card for E. B. Allen, Binghamton Marble and Granite Works, Binghamton, New York. The front features a humorous cartoon of a bulldog confronting a young boy carrying a tea kettle with the caption, "WHAT ARE YOU A GOING TO DO WITH THAT TEA-KETTLE." The reverse is blank, showing only album mounting residue and signs of prior scrapbook removal.
The advertisement promotes E. B. Allen, manufacturer and dealer in marble and granite monuments, headstones, and cemetery work generally, located at 124, 126 & 128 Court Street, Binghamton, N.Y.
